An endless maze, in endless days
Memories of us in our prime
Of me and you forever entwined

Memories of us when we shined

Why won't you let me be?
Why won't you let me seed?
Why won't you set me free?
Embalm my body, wrapped in cloth
Free my soul or watch me rot.

Are you afraid to let go?
Are you afraid of what I know?
Encase my heart, wrapped in pain
Free my soul or watch me go insane.

I want to escape inside my mind
An endless craze, an empty gaze
Memories of us when we were kind
Of me and you forever entwined

Let go of your tormented years
Days and nights filled with tears
In my mind you do appear
Laughing, smiling, then disappear

Will you not love another?
Will you not be the mother
Of my child, of our child?
Let me escape inside my mind
Oh me and you forever entwined

@ckahn I'm quite a deep thinker, bob Dylan said, "worried man with a worried mind" which is a tile of another I may post later ;-)

Lol. I wrote something about Bob here called my dinner with God and Bob. He was staying at a hotel in Santa Barbara where I worked. He's quite a quirky person.
