As the day bled into the hot summer night
With golden hues of purple, red, orange and white
We watched on dividing our wrongs into rights
Then I stole a kiss when you held onto me tight
Surrounded by your scent from up above
Into your warm soul I dreamed to dare I'll love
Healed by your soft skin and tender warm touch
Forgetting our doubts as the stars flicker and blush
Free from stress and fresh in our release
Frustrations past to reveal an inner peace
Satisfactions last to re-heal a lovers feast
Emotions we consume until we find our missing piece
Sat beside the moon as our love did shine
Wrapped up in the divisions of mankind
Challenging thoughts and opinions of those who ignore the blind
Reminiscing when the day bled into night when I was lost, loved then found
