"There's another person in this house. The lights were left on and the door was open." said a deep voice.
"Okay. Search the entire house. Even the places you wouldn't hide in and small spaces. Check the back yard and I'll search the front yard outside. We'll meet here again in probably less than an hour. Got it?"
"Got it."
And with that, the foot steps went in opposite directions. It was pretty clear that they were looking for me. But what surprised me was that the other stranger was a woman. . .
