Chapter 8
Katie's POV
It was a dream come true in Katie Perry's limo. I made myself as comfortable as possible. I could LIVE in her limo. It was home sweet home. There was a 3D TV with 1200 channels on, a laptop with "Perry" written on the back in pink sparkles, a shower , blacked out windows, a restaurant and loads more. Suddenly the driver pulled up outside of the Beverly Hills house. "This it mam?" The driver asked. I wasn't sure but I couldn't say no so I answered"Yes. Well I'm not sure. I think it is." I slowly got out of the car. I stared for a minute and eventually I talked "Yes I'm sure it is." The driver, who was dressed in a pink army suit and hat chewed his moustache. "Well I must be off now." He said. The driver pulled out a note pad once again pink. "I will right down your address just in case. By the way here is my business card." I looked blankly. "Phone number in case you need it." Then he quickly sped off down the lane. I started walking down the beautiful garden path. At both sides of the path was a water fountain. It was in the shape of a dolphin, the water squirting out of its mouth. The dolphin reminded me of Alicia calling the mansion, mansion dolphin. Come to think of it I missed her a real lot. Even more than mum and dad put together.It made me cry a little. Anyway, past the fountains were some garden benches and flowers. The benches made me think about dad who was crazy about DIY. The flowers reminded me of mum who had rows and rows of roses, daffodils, tulips, you name it mum grew it. I saw a garden pond. A pretty pond. My favourite flower was floating upon it. The Lotus flower. It was beautiful. It was a garden wonderland. When I got to the front doorstep there was a cardboard box. I looked in and saw 5 hungry puppy chihuahuas. Then I turned around a saw an adult chihuahua. I was guessing that it was the puppies mother. The dog had a red ribbon around it and a note attached. I read the note and it said:

Hello. My name is Lucy. I am the mother of these pups. Please look after them because my owner cannot care for them for various reasons thank you.

Then the dog ran off as though she had played a prank on me. I felt very sorry for them so I took them in. In size order these were there names:

Charlotte
Tilly
Tom
Rebecca
Mazie

One boy and four girls. Not very fair but still life is life. To make my life easier I took a photo of all the puppies and got some felt tips out of a draw. Then I stuck the picture on the poster and got started. I headed into town and put my poster up saying:

Please help the puppies! Give money for food and care. Not much but please help!

I managed to raise quite a whopping £55! Yes now my money was back on track!

Alicia's POV
I was so worried about Katie. I couldn't lose her. The travel staff at the airport say she bought a ticket to fly to LA but they don't know that she's still there. They have refused to make a phone call to the airport in LA so we don't know for sure. I was sobbing so badly now that even Coral couldn't cheer me up.
