Lost In Nowhere

Part 8

From in the tall grass a tall man with short black hair trips and falls. I remember this guy, I saw him at Lindsy's party.

"Josh! I say and stand up ready to charge, but fall with pain in my ankle. "OW!" I scream really loud in pain in frusteration. James still holding my hand sits next to me on the ground while Tristan stands alert staring down Josh.

"Stay here." says James brushing the hair out of my eyes "It will be okay just stay here." he lets go of my hamd and stands up. He grabs Tristans shirt from his hand and rinses it out in the water. He puts it over my head and I put my arms through the sleeves. It falls at my thighs enough to cover my strached stomach.

"Tristan follow me." I hear James say and they walk off into the grass towards Josh.

When they come back Tristan has Josh over his bare back. Without his shirt I can see every muscle clearly outlined on his stomach and arms. I laugh a little, like one of those preppy girls, but stop relizing how rediculous I sounded.

"Is he alright?" I ask standing up against the rock.

"Yeah he's fine just a little tired is all." James says.

"Why would he try to drown you?" I ask James

"I don't know." he mutters. He says something else, but trails off.

"We should get back, it's getting late." Tristan says breaking the silence. I nod and James throws me over his shoulder smiling. Tristan gives him a look and keeps his head down the whole way back.

"We're back guys." I say and hobble over on one leg to the log. I can hear everybody laugh at me while I jump and Danny comes over to help me.

"Thanks." I say and smile. She gives me a quick smile and looks away. When she sees Josh she freiks out and jumps for joy.

"Josh! Josh!" she screams and runs over to where he now lays on the ground. "Josh it's your sister!"

Just another love story?#3

It was really cold in town, not crowded and loud as usual. Vacant, and rainy. My brother did tell me that there may be a storm today, but I didn't really listen.

Chapter One, I Guess

You never see it coming. The far off sounds of guns. Sometimes, the sound of a spade hitting concrete or the thud of a baseball bat against their soft heads. The screams of everyone you love.
