Water laps around me,
Pulling me under,
Soothing my burnt skin,
From my killing wonder.
The car we one sat in,
Was lit up with flames,
Until I drove us in,
The lake with sudden waves.
Darling, I'm sorry,
That this is how it ends,
The water full with smoke,
With bones full of broken mends.
I didn't mean it, I'm sorry.
That I drove us down,
I guess my anger just lost it,
And now we're here to drown.
