Chapter 33: Jasmine's Surprise

Jasmine turned around to find the snakes bowing their heads, "Who are you?"
The snakes just smiled and hissed softly and then the snakes started to sliver away. An army came marching towards the palace and fired a spear from a gun that needed two people too hold because it was that heavy.
The spear struck the snake in the side causing a lot of damage within side. The snake's tried to use their fangs to snap the rope but two more spears came flying across, pulling the snake's heads down towards the murky ground.
"We've arrived! Cindy told us that she saw an army of creatures heading towards the palace. Where are the others?" the guards called out.
"The army has escaped and that creature saved our life!" shouted Arthur.
"So this isn't one of the Dark Demon's creatures?" one of the guards asked.
"We're not sure but it came out of nowhere and helped us to protect the palace," Lily said.
The guards freed the snake then stood back. The snake began to glow, then by everyone's amazement a powerful Mage was standing in front of them.
Jasmine's eyes started to stream with tears and then she lunged forward wrapping her arms around this Mage.
"Looks like you've become stronger and I see that you've gained another Protection Force but things will become tough through your journey."
"Well actually we were going to travel to Lightning Rod to find this Protection Force that feeds on the lightning. Slither I thought that...," Jasmine stated to choke by thinking the worst.
"It's alright Jasmine, I'm here now but it looks like you don't need my help anymore, so I'm going back to Pandora Castle to tell Princess Yuna the news. Once you've gained all the protection Forces, come back to the castle ready for the war."
On the window ledge was a bat listening to the conversation. The bat cracked a smile and then flapped away to tell the news to the Dark Demon.
Slither cast a spell that made a portal.
"Take care of your sister for me Arthur. Grizzly, Sandy I'm leaving you two in charge to look after them."
Slither them stepped into the portal and vanished into thin air.

Soon the bat caught up with the other creatures who were being scolded by the Dark Demon within a creepy, horrible, dark and dusty graveyard. The bat landed on a nearest tree branch, hanging upside down seeing the other creatures on their heads.
"Master I've got some news about Lightning Rod."
"What is it and it better be good?" the Demon snapped.
"I've heard there's a creature who feeds on the lightning at Lightning Rod."
"I see so the monkey has been hiding there storing it's energy back up. Why didn't I think of this before?"
The Demon pulled himself up on to the eagle's back.
"I want you lot to search for Lupa and Fang and bring them to me. If they refuse, then I give you permission to kill. Don't disappoint me."
The eagle flapped its giant feathery wings and flew off into the distance with the Demon on its back, while the creatures scurried, plodded and flapped in search for the wolves.

Sid fetched two more horses from the stable, a pale white horse with grey spots and a brown mane with a long brown tail. The other one was dark as night with a platted mane and tail looking really smart.
"This one's Snowy," Sid explained pointing to the white horse, and this is Prancer' "and this is Prancer."
The horses' bowed their heads to their riders Jasmine and Arthur.
"Please to meet you," Snowy said being polite.
Dash trotted forward towards the children and bowed but then tripped over because Prancer knocked into him.
Dash landed face first into the muddy puddle. Dash forced himself up and started to scrape his hooves then neighed.
"What's the matter cat got your tongue!" Prancer shouted while giggling.
Prancer and Snowy began to chuckle making Dash sorry about himself.
"Prancer, Snowy apologise to Dash now!" Sid sternly spoke making sure he was over powering them. Prancer and Snowy apologised to Dash, while giving a heartless stare into his eyes.
"Dash is the only horse within Pandora that can't speak, he only neighed. I'm trying to find out why, but still found nothing. Anyway, we better get going in case the Dark Demon has found out," Sid quietly spoke so that the other two horses' couldn't hear him.
Soon the twilight sky came clear again and the sound of clapping thunder and lightning was silent, not one single sound echoed within the sky.
Jasmine mounted on to Snowy with Rose at the back. Arthur mounted on to Prancer with Ragz holding tight to Arthur's clothing and Bogz and Bruno climbed on to Sandy's back while Bogz gripped on to the bag that was full of weapons.
They all galloped out of the village making their way to Trolls Bridge. Bogz was trembling with fear knowing that he would have to face the Troll.
"When we get to Trolls Bridge there's an exit on the left, then we follow a path that would lead us to Lightning Rod."
