You hear it so often now, people proudly saying " I shoot straight from the hip. I tell it like it is and if you don't like it too bad" and they say this like it's a good thing !

I mean do we really think its cool to hurt people's feelings ? Let's translate this another way " I have no empathy and am disconnected from the rest of the human race" does that sound cool ? How about " my opinion is more important than your whiny assed feelings" does that sound cool ?

Next time your wife asks "does my bum look big in this" are you going to "tell it like it is" or are you going to say " I prefer the black dress darling"

We are better than animals because we were given brains that allow us to differentiate between telling the truth and being cruel . Now that's cool.
