I have never participated in an Opuss challenge before...so I feel kinda lame for proposing one. I don't even know if anyone will do it, or if it's been done before, but I thought would give it a shot anyway.
Flash fiction is the informal name for a short story, consisting of few words. Many that I've read are six words. It needs to have a subject, a conflict, and a resolution. An example of this would be Hemingways's shortest story ever:
"For sale: baby shoes, never worn."
Another example is by an author who I can't remember:
"I loved the idea of you."
My English teacher made us write some flash fiction today and I thought it would be cool to extend the assignment to the Opuss community to see what is created.
There are no winners, I'm not into that bullshit. Writing is subjective, everyone is a winner. But you can tag me in it if you would like me to read it. Maybe I'll repost it!
So...yeah...good luck if you try to do this and if you tag me in anything I'm looking forward to reading it :)
