CHAPTER 2
I laugh again, almost crying with mirth. How he makes these jokes up, I don't know. It's our 7th art class, and already I don't know what I'll do when I start music.
"Ok. This is serious." He said. "There's this girl I really like. I want to ask her out, but I don't know what she'll say." My heart sank. I had been expecting something like this. No guy like Michael would be single. I put on a brave face, though, and answer calmly.
"I think you should go for it. Most girls like it if you give them flowers or chocolates on the first date."
"Really? I didn't know that!" He exclaims. I nod, a bit dully.
