How about this as a future Opuss update feature?
If you take part in any of the excellent competitions on Opuss, this might be up your alleycat too.
Say you want to know when the last winner posts the new 'competition word ' or judges the entries... you have a feature in Opuss where you can set a number of notification alerts when certain hash tags or usernames are posted. I dubbed them 'catcalls' which is all a bit cheesy... But I'd like this.
Whaddya think?

I'm a total newbie to this whole thing & have never done a blog before but I'm intrigued by the idea and thought I might use it to muse a little.
Opuss beta I haven't tried. Because of my iThing. I test it now, to know it works. So that to others, bring. These wonderful words. They should be free. For every one to see.
A day or so ago we tweaked the Opuss website and introduced a "Read More" button that shuffles the opusss and delivers a random read. Share an opuss on Twitter or Facebook and give it a whirl.
I was reading the reviews in the app store and couldn't agree more: "Sadly it seems to be in the hands of pretentious children.
Please repost What would you like to see incorporated into opuss. Comment with your ideas.
When you wave your little banner, Yellow on my screen, I feel a little shock inside, I know what this must mean. Someone understands these rants, And ravings from my head.
When I first downloaded this App, it never occurred to me exactly what I was about to become involved in.
