Apologies for the delay, I've had a tough day today and it's set me back somewhat. I've now just read all the entries again (and goodness this was tough -you guys just have come up with totally different themes -which made it exciting and challenging to judge). All entrants will get get a mention -just because I can. ;)

Joint 2nd place goes to:
@Eddie12309 for her double challenge very very dark poem 'Going South' (my initial fave from the start).
@RichWithey for his exceptionally brilliant ongoing tale 'Spell Check (part X)' -this later overtook Eddies poem for the number one slot...but got pipped to the post by a last minute dash from:
@sian_ with her brilliant chilling poem 'Standing in the Air' -it just stood out, the use of eerie at the end was also a touch of brilliance -really loved this piece. Sian, you're a truly worthy winner. :)
So there you go. The baton is swiftly passed onto @sian_ I look forward to what beginning line challenge you dig up for us. :)
