I been thinking over time about this God thing you know. I mean, religion was drummed into me as a kid, but as I grew up I started to query it.
I mean, there's all these different religions yes, and people belonging to them all believe that their religion is the right one, and that people belonging to different religions are wrong, right?
So anyway, am I missing something here? Does it matter so much that you don't believe in whatever, and that your church has a cross on it? Or that you don't wear shoes in church, and so on and so forth.
If there really is a God, and he's as benevolent and forgiving as people say he is then surely it wouldn't matter.
Also, when our troops go to war, they're blessed by a priest right? I mean, but surely the opposing troops are similarly blessed.
Does this mean that God takes sides? Baloney. You know what? The more I think about religion the more I get all messed up in my head about the whole caboodle.
Sometimes I think we should put all religion in a box and launch it into space.
