Here I sit on the train once more
Facing an obnoxious bore
Self obsessed with profit and loss
Spouting his eternal dross
His colleagues roll there eyes and scoff
Wishing he'd just bugger off
The girl to my right picks up her phone
As everyone glares in the quiet zone
We all get to hear about the fight
She had with her best friend last night
Her phone goes dead as we enter the station
She swears then moans and cant hide her frustration
We wait at the station as they shoehorn more on
With people left standing as the seats are all gone
Tables are filled with laptops and phones
As everyone fights for space of there own
Silence descends as we set off once more
And I'm left with the sounds of the obnoxious bore.
