I'd love to live in your world,
If only for a day,
It must be more colourful than mine,
From the wonderful things you say.

Not a day goes by without a story,
Tales to amaze,
Your excuses for being late for work,
Sometimes leave us all in a daze.

Stopped by the police on a regular basis,
Locked in your house,
A UFO blocked the road one day,
And the time you were attacked by a mouse.

Savaged by a huge golden eagle,
When you were young,
Left with a scar on your forehead,
It nearly ripped out your tongue!

I'd love to see life through your eyes,
See your fables unfurled,
I wouldn't change you one little bit,
I just want to spend time in your cartoon world.
