Flurry Of Snow

I'm excited that snow's here
I'm giving great cheer
This time I'll stay indoors, I'll say
But that isn't the way
Today I'm off to a friend's flat
To watch a certain bat
But last time it snowed
I was walking in the road
The bottom of my road isn't used much
When there's snow, just a little touch
So I was all safe and calm
Then I tripped and held out my palm
My knee hit the kerb
Swear? That's absurd ;)
I hobbled to my friend's house
I was quiet as a mouse
In her room looked at my knee
Swelling wasn't what I wanted to see
But I still find it funny
Although it hurt, my mood was sunny
And it took a couple days for the swelling to go
And so that's my tale about the last flurry of snow
