A Call From The Morning

Dreamlike, the morning comes,
I imagine who is awake on those rabbit runs,
Light streams through,
I feel my warm skin as it gleams,
I open my eyes and uncover colour amidst the whitish creams:
Pale hues of blues with yellows and pastel pinks.
I decide to put on my clothes,
Stroke down any kinks,
The colours are evolving,
I take a deep breath in
Of the fresh country air smell,
Awake, I begin
To walk to the bay window,
Open its mossy panes wide,
And breathe, smell, breathe,
Deeper, deeper inside.
I feel the fresh season tingle my soul
Like it's laughing innocently as it dances through my body whole.
Trees swish in pairs as if they are dancing too,
I catch sight of a big willow tree
With lustrous locks of green plume.
A glorious, united sway,
I suppose they are excited
At the beautiful new day,
I hope I'm not uninvited.

Awake With Morning Song

As the sunbeams. Tickle my eyelids awake. I lie in contented bliss. A look out the window I peep. To see where on the ground the sun does kiss. The breeze blows the trees. Leaves dance under a bush.

Serenity Of The Sea

The sun took my hand. Led me to the sand. The waters edge was close. The blue tickled my toes. My toes curled up. Not much...just enough. A little bit playfully. With the kiss of the sea.

Poppy

Challenge set by@eddie12309. I saw this beautiful poppy. Bent down to see it close. I love the fragility of its petals. Almost see through like a ghost. The sweet smell of poppies.

To See The Sea

Whilst I lay in bed, inside my little caravan by the sea. Sometimes the sea likes to speak to me. It's as if a thousand lions. Have been devoured by the sea.

@RichWithey thank you, I thought of one of my favourite Devon spots when I wrote this :)

@RichWithey it is :)) I have a lot of family there but I don't live there myself. I used to be mesmerised by the floodlit cliff walk in Torquay :P

@RichWithey I think it's gone now... The last time I was there it was just a pavement. That's pure evilness right there! At least the park is still floodlit though. :)
