Darkness

I heard a laugh behind me, a creepy slow laugh, and I turned to find nothing but darkness. I turned back and looked down at my right converse, focusing on the big L of the word love written across the white tip. The laugh came again, sending a shiver down my spine. I kept my eyes on the shoe though, I was just scaring myself. I bet I wasn't hearing the laugh. I bet the laugh was just my imagination playing tricks on me.
"Or not" A chilling voice whispered loudly then laughed.
I didn't know what to do. I was waiting for my friend and this was a fight or flight situation. My heart was beating so fast that I thought it was going to break out of my chest.
The person in the darkness started singing, "Come little children I'll take thee away into a land of enchantment..."
I had heard that song before in Hocus Pocus but it was still scaring me. My friend will be here soon and then I'll be fine.
"She's not coming back" The voice practically screamed then it was laughing again, this time hysterically.
