Journal Entry 4: Slenderman

Jewel was laying I'm bed. Her skin was as White as snow and she had heavy bags beneath her eyes. It looked as I she hadn't slept in days. I slowly walked up to her. I remember her the look in her eyes. It was a look of pure terror. I couldn't believe a stupid urban legend ha done this to her. "Are you ok?," I asked. She nodded her head no. "What's wrong then and why weren't you at school today?," I asked wanting to get to the bottom of this. She just shrugged her shoulders. "Look, Jewel you're taking this silly myth way out of proportion," I said, "this slendernan stuff is in you head. It's time to cone back to reality." She looked at me and laughed. "I am in reality," she started. I looked her straight in the eye. "Slenderman is real and he's after me. I can feel him stalking me!," She exclaimed. "I can't sleep, I can't eat, I can't even close my eye without the constant fear of being whisked off!," she cried out frustrated. She threw the covers back and ran over to the her bed room wall and ripped the wall paper off exposing drawings and just stories of slenderman. After that she walked over to her dresser and opened it. She withdrew thousands of photos and tossed them my way. Finally she dropped down to her knees and placed her head in her hands. "I've lost it Jadelenn! I've gone completely insane! I just don't know what to do anymore." All of a sudden she placed her hands over her ears. "My god, he's here Jadelenn! Leave, go now! Get out while you still can!," she screamed. I looked around but saw no one but us. Her nanny came in and helped her calm down then put her back into bed. I waited outside for her. She quietly exited Jewels room and shut the door softly behind her. "Is she ok?," I asked. "She fell asleep but she'll be just fine. A little rest is all she needs," she told me reassuringly. I just nodded. "I should get home now, it's getting late," I said. I thanked her for having me over then left.
