Dress Of Lace

Her skin looked like snow
Powdered and thin
How she died, she didn't know
She just remembered his grin

Her dress torn to shreds
She remembered what he said
As snow fell upon their heads
And from her wounds she bled

She begged for release
To get his hand from her shoulder
Her heartbeat started to decrease
As his own heart became colder

That was all she remembered
But she remembered his face
Before to the darkness she surrendered
In her dress of ripped lace
