Tears run down my cheeks. It's been so long. Since I have cried. From when you were gone. My body heaves. Uncontrollable tears. Trailing down my cheeks. From facing fears. Salty tears on my tongue.
I was reading one of my favourite book series' again a little while ago and, I know this isn't my own work, but I thought I'd share this part with you all because I thought it was such a good bit.
You glare at me with sorrowful eyes, So I turn to stare at your shadow. You face me and to my surprise, You lean in nicely in the night-glow.
I can only guess at how much pain you will be going through tonight. Four years you celebrated your birthdays together. So many memories and many more smiles and laughters.
Life goes on for those that are left behind... Carry on living. Pick yourselves up and keep on trying to move on... The effort is worth giving.
