Your Questions

So many questions going through your head
At night you lay alone in bed
Are you hoping for feelings new?
Or to do things you know you could do?
You wonder if they were here,
Would he had left her when they were so near?
Would he have done that and ripped out her heart?
Would he have loved her like he did at the start?
Would you be the same you as you are now?
Would you be the same, somehow?
Would her heart have been ripped in two?
Would she have given birth to you?
Would they have lived in that big 'ole house?
Would your footsteps still be as quiet as a mouse?
Would the cat have gotten stuck in the tree?
Up there for the world to see,
Would you be writing as you are now?
Or would you be different ...

Somehow?

Define Me

Can you define me. Am I normal, am I creative. Am I trying to be more than I am. Do people see the quiet guy and judge me for my solitude.

Ask Me

Ask me what I'm thinking, Ask me who I am. Ask me if I've lost my mind, Of sanity, I'm not a fan. I can assure you, you don't know me, So please don't assume a thing.

I.D.

by Me, Emily. -I.D.- I am me. Me is I. Can that change. If me wants to be her. If her is who I want to be... Then does me change. Does me wanting to be her change who I am. Or does me stay the same.

Who?

I was slow to finish but quick to start. I'm hard and strong yet soft of heart. I'm soft and loving yet never cry. I love to shop yet never buy. I like smart clothes but never dress smart.

So Long.

Do you think I'm funny.... Just enough to make you smile.... Do you think I'm guilty.... Would you put me up on trial.... Because lately I've been thinking, just enough to hurt my head.

Foregone Conclusion

The finer components of eloquence have always eluded me,. And laughably so as I soon came to see,. And never yet have I managed to hold in my hand, a beautiful sunbeam or a fine grain of sand,.

Remember

Remember what it was like. To live among the light. To bask in its brightness. To feel all its might. Remember how it felt. For your ice cream to melt. And the hand you was dealt.

Forever Plus a Day

Have you ever felt... the breath of expiring slumber. When the sun forays into consciousness so raw, that you remain caroused in blissful illusion.
