Today.. I'm going to do nothing
I've been wanting a day to do that!!
I might just run round with the Hoover...
Get all the crumbs from the mat..
After that, I'm going to do nothing
I've been working too hard of late..
Just a touch, I think, of weeding,
Maybe a coat of paint on the gate..
And, there's a little bit of ironing
Just stuff for Boo for the week...
And I must have a look in the kitchen,
And sort out a fix for that leak!!
... But THEN I'm going to do nothing
Put on something nice for our tea
I will make it something simple
Keep the washing up less for me!
Then I'll put my feet up and relax
At the end of the week.. That's my prize
I'll put on my favorite programme..
... And then.. I'll just.. Close my eyes.....
