When everyone else told me no, you propped me up and said yes
Despite them saying they knew best
The highs and lows of aspirations get me down
But you always make me smile when you're around

You know what I need before I know it's missing
Making our days worth future reminiscing

A strength in which I can confide

Ignoring the shaking heads of those that preach
A faith in me that our peers say I don't deserve
