Hey! Fluffs here. As you know, cats have been misjudged and mistreated for years. Even humans know that. Especially humans who have read "Cats-Not Just Pets."
But I'm here to reassure you that you're a very special kitty, and that you deserve the utmost respect from your humans. That's the one of the many bad things about humans. They, for some odd reason, think they own you, when it's obvious that you own them. I hope that this quote will help you gain the upper hand over your absent-minded housefolk.
• Freedom
Cats are superior to dogs. That goes without saying.
Dogs are stupid. What's the point in owning a dog, when you can own a clean, intelligent cat instead?! Us felines are allowed more freedom too. We can romp around the garden, climbing up the entwined branches of that ancient oak, torturing next door's koi fish. Can dogs do any of this? No. Let them outside and they'll poop on the lawn, fall out of the oak and bring half of the branches tumbling down with them and slip into the koi's pond. When you let them in, they reek to high heaven.
Winner: Cats.
Loser:Dogs.
• Hunting
Some people think cats are greedy. They couldn't be further from the truth. Cats love to show there generosity by bringing their humans gifts. Birds and frogs are best placed in the middle of the kitchen floor where they will be noticed (or trodden on) by your human.
Your human may prefer different locations though, so it's really a case of trial-and-error.
• Dogs
Some people seem to like dogs. None of us have any idea why.
• Humans
Seemingly uncontrollable,
humans are really unpredictable. They are also selfish, and a general pain in leg. At first, it seemed a good idea to be domesticated. The offers were just to good to refuse. Now we regret everything.
But all that aside, you can rest assured that your person loves you more than anyone else. That is, until you cough up a hairball in the clean laundry.
