Apocalypse.

"This is the beginning of the end!," shouted the man on the radio. I clicked it off rolling my eyes. "Ever since the first of December people have really been pushing this end of the world thing," I said, looking over at my best friend Zayden. It was a cold winter day and we were on our way to school. Zayden focused on the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly. "Zay, you don't actually believe in all of that rubbish do you?," I asked him, staring at him. His crystal blue eyes darted over to me then back to the road. "Well Ash, I'm not sure what to believe anymore. Honestly, ever since the beginning of December, I've gotten this...uneasy feel like something bad is going to happen and I've been having these ballistic dreams lately, the kind that make you stay up for the rest of the night." He finished, running his finger through his already messy hair. I wanted to ask him about the dreams but we were already pulling into the school parking lot. I let it go for now. We grabbed our things and left the warmth of his truck. We walked through the maze of parked cars, making our way to the back entrance of the school. "So, are you coming to the game tonight?," he asked. Tonight was the homecoming football game. I didn't really like sports but I liked spending time with Zayden so I usually tagged along. "Depends," I said shrugging my shoulders, "are you?," I asked. He laughed. "Of course! Don't I always?," he said. We both laughed as we entered the building. "Hey, Z-man!," Called one of his buddies who was standing over by the gym door. He waved Zayden over to but Zayden held up his hand. "That sounds great now go before your friend there pisses his pants from excitement," I said smiling. He smiled back and walked towards the guy who had now stopped waving frantically. "See you at lunch," he called over his shoulder.
