I had to see if Octavius was ok, I needed to hear his voice to reassure myself that he was ok. I grabbed the phone and punched in his number. "Hello?," said a voice. "Octavius," I said, my voice cracking. "Jadelynn, is everything ok?," he asked. "No," I cried, "I have to see you." "Ok," he said. He gave me directions to his house and then I hung up. I got up and dressed as quick as I could. I ran out to the truck and hopped in. It started right up and I sped off to Octavius's house. I pulled into his driveway and knocked on the door. He opened the door and pulled me in, shutting and locking the door behind me. "Are you ok?," he asked hugging me close to him. "Yeah I'm ok," I said hugging him back. We walked over to the couch and he offered for me to sit down and he went to the kitchen to make coffee. He sat down next to me. I told him everything about the dream. By the end of it I was in tears. I was crying so hard my body shook. I stood up and pulled my shirt up to my belly button and showed him the bruise. "Is that a tentacle?," he asked. "I'm not sure," I said starting to cry again. He pulled me down in his arms. "Sssh, it's ok. You're here now and everything will be ok," he whispered in my ear as he stroked my head. He gently pressed his lips to my forehead. "I won't let anything happen to you, I swear on my life," he said hugging me close. I felt safe in his arms. I closed my eyes and fell asleep again. I could feel my body being lifted from the familiar cold concrete floor. I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't my hands quickly explored my face, trying to figure out what was preventing my eyes from opening. My eyelids had been sown shut. I cried out. I felt my self being strapped to a table. "Please let me go! Somebody help me! Octavius!," I yelled desperately for help. I must have been talking in my sleep or something because I felt Octavius's grip tighten around me and the dream melted away and I slept peacefully. When I woke up I was laying in bed but it wasn't mine. I rolled over to find Octavius still sleeping. I reached down and pulled my cell phone from my pocket. It was Sunday morning. I'd slept through the rest of Saturday apparently. "Good morning," said Octavius, as he kissed me on the cheek. I got up. "Where are you going?," he asked, sitting up in bed. "I have to go home," I said. "Please, stay," he begged. I walked over to the bed and laid down next to him. "Ok, I'll stay," I said. He smiled and pulled me back into his arms. For a moment it was like everything was normal again but I knew deep down that it wasn't. "I've made up my mind," I said, "I want to go to Wongi Forest with you and your friends."
