Journal Entry 19: Slenderman

I felt strong arms lift me from the ground and carry me out to the car. When I woke up I was back at Octavius's house. "What did I tell you about sticking together!?," he shouted more scared than angry. "I'm sorry," I apologised, "my temper got the best of me." "Well if you're going to do that while we're in the forest then, I'm sorry but, I'm leaving you here," he said, "I really don't want to lose you, you're all that I have left." I just nodded my head. "It won't happen again I promise," I said not making eye contact with him. He gently pulled me into his arms. "I'm holding you too that promise," he whispered in my ear. He softly kissed my cheek. It was so hard to stay mad at him. I looked down at my hand. It was bandaged. "I took you to the hospital. I told the doctor that you'd tripped and fell down a flight of stairs. He said to let the swelling go down before they put a cast on it. He also said that you'd bruised a few ribs but they aren't cracked or anything," he said "I figured that we'd leave for the forest after they get a cast on your hand." "How long will that take?," I asked. "A week at the most," he answered. I nodded my head. He scooped me up and laid me back in bed. "For now you need all the sleep you can get so go back to sleep," he said. He went to get up but I grabbed his arm. "Stay with me," I pleaded. He smiled and curled up next to me. I snuggled up in his arms and fell asleep. This time I didn't dream at all which was a good thing because I woke up and felt much better like I'd finally caught up on my sleeping.
I decided to let Octavius continue sleeping. I slowly and quietly got up and went into the living room. I flipped on the television and listened to the news for a little while. After about an hour I heard Octavius sit straight up in bed and let out a blood curdling scream.
