Chapter Thirty Nine
Stop And Stare
Caden dropped off Paula. He went back to his house happily. He was falling in love with another girl besides Serena. Literally he was falling for a human.
As Serena drove to Caden's house,she got a call from William. "Hello?" she asked. "Hey cutie! I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner this weekend" he said. Serena bit her lips. She still loved Caden but Caden didn't love her. "S-Sure" she said. She turned her car around and headed to her house.
Four months later,
Caden was holding hands with his new girlfriend Paula. They were walking around the park. Caden exhaled as he enjoyed the fresh air. He loved Paula. She was just beautiful. For months,for months without crying,worrying,and hurting. Everything went perfect.
As he got home,
He started thinking about Serena. He closed his eyes and sighed. He was still in love with her. Was he really causing her stress? Was he doing something wrong? Was he not doing his part? Was he really the problem? No he couldn't be. Of course he made several mistakes but Serena made ton of them. It couldn't be his fault could it? A lot of things were going through his mind.
Serena sat in her living room and started thinking about Caden. She couldn't let him go. She never meant to say that to him. All the things she said wasn't true. She loved Caden. She didn't either know why he was so special to her but he was. He was the one for her.
Serena got up and was determined to get back with Caden. First she had to tell William it's off. She hoped though he would take it easy and still be friends.
That night,
Caden was walking on the sidewalk. Paula had packed up and moved away but they were still best friends. He wished that he could a least be friends with Serena. Though he thought she would be too busy hanging with William. He sighed and walked faster. He needed to get his mind off the two girls he loved.
Serena was driving to Caden's house but spot him on the sidewalk. "Caden!" she yelled. Caden stopped and stared. She was calling for him? Again like always? That's one I'd the things Caden remembered her doing. "Caden? Can I talk to you please?" she pleaded. Caden remembered that too. It somehow remind him that time,when Serena and him were getting ready for a party. He was looking at himself in the mirror and pulled Serena so she could look at herself also. "Caden I c-" she was cut off as she was gently pulled by him. As he looked back at the mirror,he didn't see her. He tried to hide a laugh and said,"Oh I forgot. S-sorry".
As Caden stopped thinking,he looked at Serena and said,"Sure we can talk". Serena parked her car and got off. She took a deep breath. She really hoped he would take her back.
