In My Eyes

Chapter One
Never Perfect
"Leeyum!"Where is my hairbrush?!" I yelled but then I realized Leeyum gets uncomfortable when anybody yells. "Sorry!" I shouted. "Damn it!" I thought. I yelled again. Leeyum came down. "There's my brother" I said with a happy voice. He cracked a little smile. "Leeyum and Kaydee, don't forget to visit your father this afternoon and I don't want a tantrum Lee". said mom. I was embarrassed when Leeyum threw a tantrum. Because he's seventeen.
There were lots of problems with my brother.
When he was five,he had a phobia of eating. When he was six and nine,he was always eating junk food. When he was ten to eleven,he had imaginary friend. Finally when he turned twelve,me and him really got close. But he would always feel neglect when I hung out with other people. He would always be upset if I don't have my phone if he calls. Whenever someone yells,he felt uncomfortable. He never really made friends so,my parents home schooled him. My parents always thought he had mental illness. I loved him though. He was my big brother and loved me very much.
He was never perfect for my parents. I was though. I use to get mad at them for yelling at Leeyum. It wasn't his fault that he was that way. God never made mistakes and he made us just the way we are suppose to be. Seems like my family couldn't understand that.
"Mm fine" said Leeyum. He looked at me and asked,"We aren't gonna go fishing right?" I giggled. "No Lee, we only go fishing when mom comes but she isn't going today with us". Leeyum sighed in relief.
That afternoon,
"Hey kids!" my dad yelled. Leeyum twitched his eye. I held his hand and walked over to my dad. We got into the boat where he lived. My dad loved the water. He would always take me out but never Leeyum. He once did but Leeyum screamed that he was gonna fall and always did cause he panicked too much. Now Leeyum isn't afraid that much.
"Dad,what are we gonna get for dinner?" Leeyum asked. Dad smiled and said,"We are going to have Pizza Hut". Leeyum smiled big. We hadn't have pizza for nearly five months. Leeyum whispered,"Kaydee maybe we can get dessert also. We'll share". I laughed. Even though,he was seventeen and I was sixteen we had to have permission to get dessert.
Leeyum and I were like buddies.
