My favourite season is autumn,
And I love the leaves especially,
Gold, red, brown,
And their distinctive sounds,
Crackling beneath my feet,
As they slowly loose their heat,
I love the burning fire,
And the smell of old oak wood,
A warm scarf around my neck,
And woollen mittens to protect.
The sun in the sky,
While the wind still blows.
This truly is the perfect season of all.
