Crystal clear pools of smelted frost,
Ebony-black eyes to never be lost,
Snow-covered fur shaking in bounds,
Breath in gasps of steamy clouds,
Ears pricked attentively, alert as always,
Eyes, oblivion, eternity's hallways,
Crisp white snow shatters in her path,
Speckles of red fall from the bloodbath,
Her song echoes through the snow-topped valley,
The only one left, none to rally,
Icicles dangle, delicate as glass,
The snow seems to part to let her pass,
Snowflakes land gently upon her face,
Each one glimmering as if made of lace,
Teeth like daggers, claws as sharpened knives,
Each have saved, and ended, ever so many lives,
Stone cold killer, chilled to the bone,
The very last wolf, abandoned, alone.
