9/11

For all who we lost,
11th September,
Today it's you,
We will remember.

For your in our hearts,
You'll never leave our side,
Even if we run,
Even if we hide.

We miss you dearly,
And with sadness we sing,
'Oh where are you?
You are missing!'

So why was it thought,
To be a good plan,
To fly into the towers,
Kill every child, woman and man?

So after the tragedy,
With you in hearts,
We rebuild our lives,
Back from our starts.

This isn't much,
But at least it can say,
We miss you dearly,
And in our heart you will stay.

If life is an open door, why am I always trapped on the outside. With all this space around me and no where to go, no one to share it with. The cruel and unforgiving darkness becomes a blessing and my mind blurs the lines that others have set in place for me. I am at one with my self. I am at one with others. I am at one with the darkness. I am at one with the unknown.

@LittleMissSam I'm actually from England!πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

@Davedave16 Then it's very very nice of you to think of the families of the fallen here in the U.S:)

@LittleMissSam no problem. I thought of this because people are doing 9/11 pieces and I heard a song 2day in assembley about 9/11 as well and I thought that I owe it to the fallen to write something even if it's not much

@Davedave16, At my school we've been working on 9/11 relate projects in many of my classes. And I saw this when I got home and it was better than anything they showed me in class. It's a wonderful poem!:)

@LittleMissSam thanks a lot for your comment! Loads of people tell me I'm writing amazing stuff but I'm usually not do sure about it myself. :)

@Davedave16 I know what you mean! I wrote on another site and everyone tells me how great it is and I can't see it, I see it as being so flawed.

@Davedave16 that was really good! I also wrote one on 9-11 and for someone from England that's very nice of you.
