A crisp, clear night
When my breath rises
As a serenade to the stars,
Little wisps of life
That will not neatly end
But fade out, carried upward
By some celestial current
Which science cannot label, bottle nor explain.
A crisp, clear night
When thoughts become clear
And the fog of day gives way
To the soft glow of the moon,
When I stop and think and think to stop,
Stop the hastening rush of a life
That spins out of control in time to Mercury
And tame it to serve but the night sky,
In a blissfully, shadowy world
Of peace and quiet and clarity,
Where minds can finally be alike
And send life's sighs unto the gems of the sky
In some common thought of humanity
Too long lost and forgotten.

Very nice and atmospheric. I was hoping Neptune or Saturn would make a cameo to counterpoint Mercury's frantic, messaging madness. But you did take me away for a precious moment. I am also a stargazer. Good work.
@leelee101 why thank you, felt something tranquil was in order for bedtime 😉 and thank you also for the RP😘
Hey-ya kiddo - long time no see! I love this. I love staring at the stars on a clear night/morning - I spend ages looking at the red supergiant Betelgeuse in Orion hoping to see it turn supernova! 🌟👍
