I remember tears,
How they poured down your face,
About all the years,
That had turned to waste,
My nails bit into my skin,
Because after it all,
I did not even win,
And there you stood tall,
Jaws were clenched,
As I realised I was wrong,
Our love was wrecked,
After so long,
I blame it on myself,
And you blame it on me,
It wasn't my health,
That made me not see,
Our love was fading,
On and off, like a candle,
I was fed up of waiting,
So I lost the grip on the handle.
