One Summer With You

Chapter 13

" are you ok?". He asked as he touched my lap. His hand was soft and the touch on my bare skin made me remember him kissing me.
" yeah I am fine". I said as I smiled at him. He took his hand and sat back again.

" what was that about?". I asked, although I did know he wouldn't understand. He looked at me with those green eyes and smiled.
" what? That kiss?". I nodded. And his cheeks got a bit red, with that smile and those glittery eyes I couldn't help myself from thinking about kissing him again.
" I like you and I want you to be more than a friend. I really think, no I can't stop thinking about you. Even though we live in the same house". I didn't know whet to say. He was obviously telling the truth. Not hiding a bit of it. I felt the same. I didn't know why but I didn't fall for guys like the way with Jake.

My eyes felt heavier. With me looking at him and daydreaming. He looked questioning. That made me think of the look I had on my face. I sat with my back against the wall. He did the same. He also took a pillow and put it on his lap.

" so...what do you think?". I looked at him. He sat so near I could see his chest rise up and down under his white t-shirt.
" about what? The kiss". I asked, I wanted to hear his voice. He and I knew what he was talking about. So we smiled.
" I liked it. It was nice. Like you are". I said with a smile. My cheeks were burning. I was sure I looked like a tomato.
" I liked it and I want more". We both smiled. What was happening between us?
