Chapter 3
It was a normal saturday. The sun was up and so was I. I forgot the curtains. They were wide open and they let the sunlight hit my face as I was asleep. I woke up and looked at my phone. 11.00 in the morning. I had to go to go to the cafeteria as I usually do. For breakfast, it was the only place where coffee tasted the best.
As I got dressed I went down to the lobby. I saw one of the staff.
" good morning Emily". He said as I walked by the desk. He wasn't seen, but I knew him well. He worked here since I moved here 2 years ago. I was only nineteen. But he helped me find around in town a lot. I answered him and walked out.
As I walked to the cafeteria I was using my phone. So no more talking with Adam. No texts from anyone. Great.. For a second of my life I wasn't wanted. Then I dropped my phone.
" oh my god!! I am so sorry". I heard the voice as I looked down at my phone. The screen was smashed. Probably, no iPhone managed a fall like that.
" I... Watch out!!". I said as I picked it up. I took my eyes from the phone to see the person I disliked for the moment.
He was hot!!! I saw models but he was something else. I had to stop looking cause I had to break that awkward silence.
" I am glad I don't need it for now". I said as I put the phone in my pocket.
" I will pay for it. I was on my way to the cafeteria". He said as he moved his hand through his hair.
" it's right over there". I said as I pointed to the road in front of me.
