Why is our love only one way?
I wish I could tell you what I want to say.
For me I know you have no respect,
Yet it still breaks my heart knowing you will reject.
I pour out my feelings, only to get them broken,
Should I have wasted the breath or just not have spoken?
Love is passion; love is life.
But you endlessly stab through it with a knife.
For so long you've filled me with sad emotion,
I'm starting to question "are you worth the commotion?"
Catching you is leading me down an endless road,
Where I will never return and my heart will corrode.
Will you ever accept me for who I am?
Or am I burying myself into a meaningless dam?
Whenever you're near my heart will race,
And when I hear your voice it's something I embrace.
Just because I'm a boy doesn't mean my heart can't be split,
To be then thrown down a never-ending pit.
All I seem to do is chase after your shadow,
So please love me back, because I love you so...

Crush
You clamped my heart with shackles. You shot the metal through. My heart is raw, ripped open. As the shackles drag on the floor. You don't know that you hold the chain. Or the key to set me free.
Denial
I shouldn't miss you, But I do, I think I took it for granted, That you were enchanted, Do I dare call you first. Why do I ponder and curse.
Passion
I wrote this when I was 14 which was over half my life ago (only just), so it's a little young and innocent but now I have a place to be heard I figured I'd post some old stuff too.
