7:22am Good morning to anyone reading this.
I have not peeled myself away from my bed yet but intend to do so shortly. I am led here pondering on how I can be different this year, starting today. What I could do in the mornings that's special or memorable, before I start the day. My days are usually filled with decisions and drama and I could really do with a few minutes where I gather my thoughts, take in the morning air and just be.
A few years ago, when I was in training mode for my aspirations of the RAF, I got up every morning at 6.30am and ran round the block, listening to music and basking in the summer morning sun. It was bliss, but that is no longer an option so I must find something new to do that's positive and creative.
What though?
I have considered yoga and meditation but it doesn't feel creative enough for me. It feels like I would be attempting to be something I'm not and that's what I'm trying to get away from.
Im sure something will come to me.
Time has gone on and I must get up and face the year. What to do on my first day?
