It doesn't matter how strong you feel about something
It doesn't matter how hard a decision may be
It doesn't matter how badly you want something
It doesn't matter if you have a hard or an easy past
A letdown will always hurt. It will rip like a knife though your entire being, and it will always leave a mark. Never to be forgotten. Never to get easier. A let down will speak louder than any serenade will ever chime.
A letdown doesn't get easier when you cry it out. It will hurt just as much when the tears stop to fall.
The only thing making it easier is a change in attitude. A moment of self-respect which conquers everything else.
Get hurt, shame on them.
Get hurt again, shame on them. It just made you that much stronger.
