I live to write
Poetry.
I feel it comes quite
Naturally.
But my father has
Brought to my attention
a very good point
I feel I should
Mention...
Some people are
how do you say,
not honest
and will steal
your stuff in
a hurry
and this simple
thought causes
me to worry

I love my poetry
it is my art
Every poem I
write I write
from the heart
I would hope no one
would try to claim
My works
just so they could
get the perks

I only ask that you
kindly respect this
simple request
Give me credit
where it is
due
and I'll do the same
for you

I don't mean to call
Anyone of you a thief
I simply want to
shield my heart from
grief
So to be safe
I'll take an extra
precaution
just in case

I love all animals especially dogs. They have always had a special place in my heart. When I was younger I was always telling my mom "look mom that's a chihuahua!" Or "hey look at that golden retriever!" As a little girl I would go to re library and check out books on different dog breeds. I also love horses as well and hope to one day own a few. I have owned fish, hamsters, and birds. I really would like ferret in the near future but we'll see. I truly am passionate about all animals and I love wolves. They are beautiful, fierce, and majestic creatures. I have much respect for wolves. So that's just a little but about me. :)

I feel the same really, it would really annoy me if I ever see someone using what I've written as there's, I try to just tell myself that the proof of when it was written will always be on record at opuss Hq, so I would like to think that if it should ever come to legal action we should have that to fall back on maybe. I would just put your name at the end and hope really, I've been pretty concerned about this recently myself.

If you're really serious, I'd suggest you add an 'All Rights Reserved' note, together with your name & the date, at the end of each post. I used to do it but have gotten out of the habit, as not been posting much. I'm not saying it would prevent someone from 'stealing' your work, but it's the best way to help prevent it 😌
