Or a creepy midnight scare
This isn't about feelings
Or what's over there

This isn't about past, present or future
It's not about who I love
This isn't about my life
Or what lies above

This isn't really sappy
Or a sad tale to tell
This isn't a biography
And nothing here is hard to spell

This isn't dramatic or funny
This doesn't have reason, just rhyme
To write any of those other things
This just isn't the right time

This isn't just a poem
This isn't mean to be idle
This is lesson for society
To judge beyond the title
