He looked into the mirror,
Eyes glistening with tears,
To see a silhouetted figure,
He hadn't seen in years,
The waiting tears overflowed,
And spilled down his cheek,
The silhouette grew lighter,
And he saw a smile, weak,
His beautiful wife had passed away,
Just two years before,
She had died of cancer,
They were united once more,
He placed his shaking hand in hers,
And she squeezed it tight,
He tried to smile back at her,
Faces glowing in the candlelight,
She smiled at him one last time,
Then slowly faded away,
Before she went, he whispered,
"I love you more than words can say."
