If we die tomorrow,
I think I'll be alright.
Although there will be darkness,
I know I've seen the light.

If it ends tomorrow,
And the world turns grey and dark,
I know I've had it goodly,
I've really had a lark.

I've travelled round the world and back,
I've seen a lot of things,
From reefs to art and flashy cars,
To palaces of kings.

I've got a family who cares,
I've lived a fair few years...
Loved and lost and loved again,
Smiles do out-rule tears.

So if we die, at least I lived,
And wrote and danced and drank...
This little life that I have had?
It defo hasn't stank.

That last line is SO wrong, it's right! ;-)

@jackalice huh?!

When this was predicted they hadn't heard of leap years so we should have died 74 years ago. We have nothing to worry about :) great poem too

Great write my sweet 👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏✨👏

What happened was the Mayan person who was doing the whole calendar thing died so he wasn't able to carry on the calendar and the 21st is where he left off.... Or so I heard 😜

Good job btw 👏

And he ran out of space on the rock :D

@HeatherAnne @misslittleDHP @16updegsha @BlueIcecream I hear he went to a beach party rave and lived a happy life thereafter... Live life to the full and then some, beyond the hype and continue to share your writing...

@Barknbite @BlueIcecream @16updegsha @misslittleDHP @liberty haha thanks everyone, I'm well aware that the chances of an actual apocalypse are slim to none, I just thought I'd have some fun!
