A mother sings to daughter,
Her baby girl asleep,
The mother finally falls down,
And in her hands does weep.
She wishes she could give her all,
The world at all its price,
Instead she's just her mother and-
Has motherly advice.
A daughter grows and flourishes,
With pride, beauty and more,
There is no festering dark spot
Of which her heart is sore.
Her mother has been of the best,
Caring, wise and kind.
Full in heart and full in spirit
Full in love and mind.
