Feeling kind of blue,
I see you on the bed,
Mother and my sister,
Lying head-to-head.
Enjoying time and laughing,
Smiles and grins alight,
Inside my chest my heart constricts:
It suddenly feels tight.
I try to fit with all of them,
I try my best to BE,
But every time I try that hard,
No one ever sees.
And watching them together,
Reminds me I'm not there,
I may be part of family,
But there's something I don't share.
