The music flows through me,
Live, charged with voltage,
Like electricity,
It bends and breaks,
As I ride its wave.
Drums echo through my heart,
My chest cavity filled with sound,
Ready to burst apart.
My head vibrates
With every chord,
Every note played.
I could fall into this forever;
Pressed between friends and strangers,
Wearing sweat and beer
As casual attire,
Young and old, together,
In a thumping, jumping
Jangling sea of writhing
Bodies, moving to the beat.
Drum solo,
Bass licks,
Guitar riff,
Everybody sing;
Music live, alive, living.
