You found me broken and destroyed,
A million different shattered pieces,
Scattered all across the floor,
And saw where all my pain releases.
You found my guilt beneath the shame,
Upon my skin where art was made,
And left behind a healing grace,
To repair all that had decayed.
And with it came a brand new age,
A shade of life I had yet to see,
In which you took me by the hand,
Pulled me on and set me free.
The shards reformed and found a place,
A soul was born and sent to roam,
Cracks remained and pain had stayed,
But in your arms, I found a home.
