I'm standing on a bridge,
I'm waiting in the dark,
I thought you'd be here,
Not looking in the park.
There's nothing but the rain,
No footsteps on the ground,
I was hoping you'd find me but,
I'm listening and there's no sound.
Why isn't anyone trying,
To look for me and find me,
Somebody to come,
Take me back home I don't see.
It's to cold of a night,
To try to and figure out my life,
There was all around me just simply,
Oh way to much strife.
Now I'm all alone,
I'm looking for a place,
Is there anybody here I know,
I'm just searching for a familiar face.
'Cause nothing's going right,
And everything's a mess,
I can't keep living this isn't a life,
I've got something to confess.
But you will never know,
What I've got say,
I'm jumping off this bridge,
So I won't have to live another day.
You should've tried harder,
So that you could've found me,
Now you'll never get to take me home,
Now you know how hard life can be.
It was to cold of a night,
To try and figure out my life,
So now I am free of all the worries,
When your dead there is no strife.
