Love You Too: PART FIFTY FOUR

-NATE-

"We'd love to meet this fiancé of yours" one of the Chinese men told me after I'd finished telling them all about her.
"I'll call her and see if she's free" I said, dialling Tiffany.
"Hey!" she said, sounding bright and cheery.
"Hello sweetie. I was just wondering if you wanted to come and meet us?"
"Sure! First of all though I'd like to tell you about what I've booked for us this evening"
"Go on then?"
"Rockerfeller Centre, we have the whole top floor to ourselves!"
"I'm not even going to ask how you managed that, but oh my god! That's so amazing!"
"So I'm going to get a table sent up and we can have a proper date up there"
"Sweetie, you're so amazing!" I said, wishing I could kiss her right now.
"Thank you, where are you? I'll come and meet you, then we'll go and get ready together and then we'll set off okay?"
"Sure, we're just about to walk past Tiffany's. Where are you?"
"I'm about 2 blocks north of you, stay still!"
"See you in a minute!" I said, hanging up.
About 2 minutes later, Tiffany emerged from the small crowd of people outside Tiffany's with two bags in her hand: Bergdorf Goodman and a Tiffany one.
"Successful day?" I said, glancing at her bags.
"Yes thank you! Hi, it's great to meet you" she said, hugging each one of the Chinese businessmen.
"We have to drop them off in about an hour, so I thought I'd show them Tiffany's"
"It's lovely to meet you, I've heard so much about you today" one of the men said to me, as Nate put his arm round my shoulders.
"Let me carry these" I said to her, relieving her arms.
"Thanks" She said, kissing my cheek.
"So, this is Tiffany's. Feel free to buy as much as you want!" I said, pointing the men inside.
"Tiffany? Twice in one day?" the friendly man on the door said to her when he saw her again.
"What can I say? I just can't stay away!" she laughed, smiling and heading inside.
"We have to pick wedding rings soon" I said to her.
"I know. Do you want one?"
"I don't know. Do men normally have one?"
"It depends really on whether they want one or not"
"If I see one I like I'll have one, but if not don't worry! I really need to get you one though"
"Yes, you do!"
"Well... We are in the best place for rings. Unless we tried Harry Winston?"
"We may as well have a look today, then go to Harry tomorrow?" she said
"First name terms with him are we?" I joked, leading her into the elevator. "Floor two please"
"That's rings, is that correct?" the man in the elevator said to me.
"Yes it is" I replied, with him looking a little shocked at our age.
"Where shall we begin?" I said, following Tiffany out of the lift and into the floor that's dedicated to diamonds and gold and true love.
